Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have sealed the transfer of Civil Service United skipper and left-back, Timothy Silwimba, multiple reports suggest.

The Nomads after a guidance from the technical panel, have agreed personal terms with the player and the agreement between the Club’s is said not to be the problem.

The Nomads have been willing to rope in a left back and a centre back before the season starts this March.

According to reports, the Lali Luban based side are on the verge of announcing the signing of Civil Service United skipper and left-back, Timothy Silwimba who won Civil’s Player of the Season last season.

Recent reports suggest that the player has already said “goodbye” to his teammates ahead of the move and he will sign a contract with the team “any day”.

“Timothy Silwimba has signed a three year contract with Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Football Club agreement between the player agreed to terms of the contract on Monday and is expected to join the team this week.

Wanderers are also set to complete the acquisition of Chitipa United’s skipper, Chris Liwemba after a long wait. The Players’ camp was said to be frustrated by the Nomads’ delay but the deal is “back on track.”Wanderers are hunting for the two defenders as they want to replace outgoing Miracle Gabeya who joined UD Songo on fee transfer and have a proper left back.

The Nomads have been without a proper left back since the departure of Ted Suman, they tried to replace him with Emmanuel Nyirenda but the player struggled to make an impact.

Wanderers and Silver Strikers have been very active on the transfer market this season as they are trying to beat FCB Nyasa Big Bullets of their glory.
